My first step was in 2018 as a student film editor, where I worked with a dozen young directors. After moving back to my hometown, Beijing, I took an intern-position at a post-production studio(中视北方) under CCTV. There, the old-school tool I had used in high school—the Grass Valley Edius, played the main role. During the pandemic, I found a position that connected to many roles in motion picture production at a rising company called Strawbear, which later initiated a public offering in Hong Kong.
After three years working as a post-production coordinator and assistant producer, I relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area.
